First Time Applicants – Adult (16+ years of age) Requirements

1. 4-page single sided passport application form
2. Must be in black ink
3. Sections required – 1, 2, 3, (a & b if applicable) 4, 5, 8, 9, 10
   1. Section 8 – tell us which countries passport your countersignatory holds and their email address (only for children 15 years and under)
   2. Section 9 – to be completed by the parent or legal guardian for children under the age of 16 years. All legal guardians must produce a court document. (Note – if the applicant turns 16 years within 4 weeks of submission, they must sign section 9)
4. 2 photographs (1 photograph must be countersigned) see photograph requirements Get a passport photo: Printed photos - GOV.UK
5. Applicant’s original birth certificate
6. Original naturalisation/registration certificate (if applicable)
7. Applicant’s original marriage certificate (if applicable)
8. Applicant’s original divovce absolute/making of conditional final (if applicable)
9. If born AFTER 31 December 1982 parent’s original birth certificate or naturalisation/registration certificate (if applicable)
10. If born AFTER 31 December 1982 Parent’s original marriage certificate and/or divorce decree absolute/ making of conditional final (if applicable)
11. If you hold a passport for any other country, you are required to submit a colour copy of your passport(s) as supporting documents
