The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) encourages recent college and university graduates who are currently unemployed to take advantage of a new opportunity designed to help them transition from higher education into meaningful careers.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., the Department will host a 30-minute virtual information session introducing graduates to the tools, training, and resources available to support their career journey.
Participants will learn how the Department connects Bermudians to:
- Real-world work experience
- Skill-building programmes
- Professional networking opportunities
- Potential job placements
There is also the opportunity to be included in the upcoming Graduate Apprenticeship Programme, which offers university graduates a practical pathway into the workforce.
Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward explained, "The transition from the classroom to the workplace can feel overwhelming, but it is also a time full of potential. We want to ensure our graduates know they are not alone in this process. Through the DWDs programmes and partnerships, we are committed to opening doors, creating pathways, and equipping Bermuda's young professionals with the skills and experience they need to thrive."
Graduates are encouraged to register today at https://tinyurl.com/DWDGAP. For more details, visit dwd.bm or call 297-7714.
