Department of Parks Invites the Community to Turn Out for Second Event in Movies in the Park Series

The Department of Parks invites the community to an enchanting movie night experience taking place on Saturday, 12 August, at Chaplin Bay, South Shore, Warwick. This event promises an exciting evening under the open sky as part of the ongoing free Movies in the Park summer series.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the event will open, welcoming families and individuals to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of cinematic delight. Attendees are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs and are invited to savour various delectable treats and beverages from our on-site vendors.

The highlight of the evening will commence at 8:30 p.m. when the first of two family-friendly films will light up the screens.

First on the schedule is "Minions: The Rise of Gru", an adventurous and hilarious tale that promises entertainment for all ages. Following this, the musical magic of "Sing 2" will take centre stage.

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date has been set for Saturday, 19 August, ensuring that attendees can still enjoy this cinematic experience.
