COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccines Available at Hamilton Health Centre

The Department of Health will provide COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations at the Hamilton Health Centre at 67 Victoria Street, Hamilton, by appointment only. These vaccinations are an essential part of our efforts to protect Bermuda residents against respiratory infections, which can be severe and life-threatening.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge and is prioritised for residents who may be at increased risk of severe illness and meet any of the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Persons aged 65 years or older;
  2. Persons with chronic conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory diseases, including asthma, and their caregivers;
  3. Health care and essential service workers;
  4. Persons aged 12 to 64 living with someone with a weakened immune system.

Minister of Health, Kim Wilson, emphasises the importance of vaccination: "Influenza and COVID-19 can lead to symptoms ranging from mild to severe, potentially resulting in hospitalisation or death, particularly among high-risk groups like the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. The Ministry of Health strongly recommends that eligible individuals get vaccinated. As always, remember that all Bermuda residents have a role in preventing the spread of respiratory infections through public health and hygiene measures such as handwashing, mask wearing, staying home when sick, and getting vaccinated.”

Persons meeting the eligibility criteria for the vaccinations can attend the Hamilton Health Centre at the following times:
