IBMi Infrastructure Upgrade
The Government of Bermuda, through the Department of Information and Digital Technologies (IDT), invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply, installation, configuration, migration, testing, and commissioning of a new IBM Power11 server environment, associated storage infrastructure, and management components.
The Government's IBMi (AS400) platform supports numerous mission-critical applications and services across multiple Government departments and agencies. These systems operate on a 24 hours per day, 365 days per year basis and require continuous availability, resilience, and support.
The objective of this procurement is to replace the Government's end-of-support IBM Power9 infrastructure and establish a fully supported, resilient, and sustainable IBM Power11 and Power10 environments capable of supporting the production, development, and disaster recovery operations.
As the Government's currently uses IBMi (AS400) platform, procuring the IBM Power11 will ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
