The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the National Heroes Day holiday on Monday June 18th, trash that would normally be collected on that day will be collected on Saturday, June 16th.
As a reminder, Monday trash collection areas include:
o All of Sandys Parish.
o Western Southampton Parish down to, and including Church Road.
All other waste collection will be unaffected by the holiday.
Recycling will be collected the week of June 18th on Thursday in the west, and Friday in the east per the 2018 Garbage and Recycling Schedule.
