Designed as a cornerstone of the Career Fair & Expo, the Executive Panel will be a conversation on leadership, purpose and opportunity and provide an inside look at the structure, and evolving role of Bermuda’s Public Service. Through a dynamic and interactive discussion, panelists will share:

  • Their journeys into public service leadership

  • Perspectives on the national challenges and priorities shaping policy and decision-making
  • Their vision for a modern, responsive, and future-ready Public Service

The session will also highlight the critical role of the Public Service in delivering meaningful outcomes for the people of Bermuda, while underscoring the diverse and impactful career opportunities available across government.

A key focus of the discussion will be the importance of inspiring and developing future leaders and attracting new talent into the Public Service.

Panelists will speak directly to:

  • The skills and mindsets needed for success in today’s Public Service
  • The wide range of career pathways available to students, graduates, and professionals
  • How individuals can align their passions and expertise with purpose-driven work in government

And attendees will gain practical insights into how they can begin or transition into careers that contribute to Bermuda’s long-term development and success.

Head of the Public Service, Cherie Whitter, said, “This panel discussion is an important opportunity to connect people with the purpose behind public service. It allows us to share not only what we do, but why we do it, and the impact that public officers have on the daily lives of Bermudians.

“Our goal is to inspire the next generation to see themselves as part of a modern, dynamic Public Service that is committed to shaping Bermuda’s future.”

As a reminder, the Public Service Career Fair & Expo will take place on from 12noon - 8.00pm.

The Executive Panel Discussion is expected to be one of the day’s highlights, offering attendees a rare opportunity to engage directly with Bermuda’s most senior public officers.

The Government encourages, students, job seekers, and early and mid-career professionals to attend the Career Fair & Expo and participate in the panel discussion as part of their exploration of meaningful and impactful career opportunities within the Public Service.

The Public Service Career Fair & Expo is aimed at:
