Primary 1 Screening

Who gets screened?

° All students entering public primary school in September 2025, who have not been previously identified, will need to be screened.

When is the screening? 

° July 1st — 11th, 2025

Where will the screening take place?

° All screenings take place at Harrington Sound Primary School, 6 Harrington Hundreds Rd., Smiths.

How does the screening work?

° Parents will be contacted to set up an appointment with therapists. The screenings can last between 20-60 minutes depending on how many screenings. Example: A student may need to be screened for Speech and Language only, or he/she may need to be screened for S&L, OT, and PT.
