The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the Portuguese Day holiday (Monday, November 4), the garbage that would normally be collected on that day will be collected on Saturday, November 2.
As a reminder, Monday garbage collection areas include Sandy’s Parish and Southampton Parish West, up to and including Lighthouse Road from Middle Road to South Road.
Garbage may also be delivered to the Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility, which will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
