“The Ministry of Education was informed of the traffic accident earlier this morning in Maryland involving students from Sandy’s Middle School. The students are abroad on a school trip, and were on their way to visit The American University in Maryland. The students are accompanied by two teachers and their Principal, Dr Timothy Jackson.
“ The Ministry of Education has been in contact with the Deputy Principal who has advised that some students did suffer non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Holy Cross Hospital. The Ministry is deeply grateful that no students were severely injured and that at last report the students were doing well. The Ministry will receive a full report and an investigation will be carried out.”
