Earlier today and in keeping with its annual tradition, the Market Place Ltd. presented the House of Assembly with a specially made cake in honour of the upcoming Bermuda Day holiday.
The public will recall that this year’s Heritage Month and Bermuda Day Parade theme is a Tapestry of Cultures, and imagery on the cake depicted a variety of images synonymous with Bermuda’s cultural heritage.
Presenting the cake on behalf of the Market Place Ltd. to Premier Michael Dunkley, House of Assembly Speaker, Randolph Horton and several Members of Parliament was Ronnette Burgess.
