Inspire Ebusiness Seminars Continue With Session On Finding Financing

The 7 part Inspire eBusiness workshops, sponsored by the Department of E-Commerce and coordinated by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, will continue on Wednesday, February 3rd. The informational seminar, which will cover “Finding Financing for Your eBusiness,” will take place at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce from 5:30-7:00pm.  Light refreshments will be served.

This sixth workshop of the series will feature a panel of three speakers including Ray Jones of the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, Lee Simmons from the Bank of Butterfield and Steve Skowyrski of FUZE Consulting Ltd. The seminar aims to cover how new and existing entrepreneurs can find financing to support their online businesses.

Ray Jones remarked, “Obtaining financing can be tricky in Bermuda.  We are looking forward to providing attendees with some tips as well as identify some local resources that are available to help those interested in getting financing to start their online businesses. ”

The Inspire eBusiness initiative was launched in 2014 to support and encourage the development of local e-commerce business in Bermuda. It aims to educate existing and potential entrepreneurs about the process of starting an online business and setting up e-commerce on their websites.
