The Minister of Home Affairs, Sen. the Hon. Michael M. Fahy, JP announced, on 21st December 2015, the appointment of Jonathan Castro, Richard James and Alasdair Younie to the Tribunal to hear the objections and representations to the Draft City of Hamilton Plan 2015.
During the public consultation period from June to September 2015, seven objections and representations to the Draft City of Hamilton Plan 2015 were received. These will be presented to the Tribunal on 20th January 2016. The Tribunal inquiry will start at 9.30 a.m. and take place in the Economic Development Board Room, 3rd Floor, Government Administration Building.
The Tribunal will make recommendations to the Minister of Home Affairs who will present the final City of Hamilton Plan 2015 to the Legislature for approval.
