Cabinet Office press release

Commissioner House in Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda

Premier Michael Dunkley and his Ministerial Colleagues will be conducting today's (Tuesday, 28 June 2016) weekly Cabinet meeting at Commissioner House in Dockyard, the Cabinet Office announced today.

As the public is aware, the Cabinet Office on Front Street is currently undergoing extensive renovations. Since the start of the refurbishment project, the Ministry of ‎Finance has served as the alternative location for the weekly Cabinet meetings.

However in the upcoming weeks, Premier Dunkley will seek to host some of the meetings at various locations around the Island, as the Premier views this as an opportunity to extend the Ministerial outreach and engagement into the community. Starting off the day, tomorrow morning, Premier Dunkley will join commuters in travelling to Dockyard via ferry. While in Dockyard the Premier and Ministers will also conduct a site visit of ‎the South Basin area to get a progress report  of the America's Cup land reclamation development. Lunch for the group will take place at Anchor Restaurant, and closing out the day following the formal Cabinet meeting proceedings, the Premier and Ministers will participate in a Roof Wetting at Commissioner  House.
