In support of the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure 2023 – 2024, the Premier and Minister of Finance, the Hon. E. David Burt, JP, MP, will present the Budget Statement in the House of Assembly (Veritas Place) on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at 10 am.
“The dedicated Ministry of Finance team and I have been working on the 2023-2024 Budget for several months,” said the Premier and Minister of Finance. “This Budget will outline our continuing path towards economic recovery and focus on our ongoing commitment to providing relief to the hard-working people of Bermuda.”
The 2023/24 Budget Statement outlines the allocated funds for each Government department and is followed by the Opposition’s formal Budget Reply and the General Economic Debate on Friday, February 24th. Thereafter the House and then the Senate will consider various departments, debating the estimates of revenue and expenditure in a debate schedule determined by the Opposition.
