British sailing legend Sir Ben Ainslie, who has skippered his Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing team to the top of The America’s Cup tables, sings the praises of Bermuda in a 20-page supplement on the island contained in The Times newspaper in London.
Sir Ben, whose team was cheered to victory by spectators who included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was very complimentary of Bermudians and the Great Sound stadium, which is set to be the venue for the June 2017 America’s Cup Finals.
The widely circulated 230-year old newspaper – with a subscribers list of nearly half a million - highlighted the section entitled: “Bermuda - Set fair for success” which is a highly flattering profile of Bermuda throughout the 20-page spread.
