LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

ISLAND RESTAURANT GROUP LIMITED

OKTOBERFEST

 

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Island Restaurant Group Limited – Oktoberfest Dinner Event is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than seventy-five persons assembling;

 

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on the below match dates and times of the Oktoberfest Dinner Event  at the Victualling Yard, Dockyard, Sandy’s Parish with the following conditions:  

 

Oktoberfest Dinner Dates and times:

 

  • Wednesday 7 October 2020 – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Thursday 8 October 2020 – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Friday 9 October 2020 – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Saturday 10 October 2020 – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

 

Conditions:

 

  1. All persons at the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.  

 

  1. Maximum number of dinner patrons  permitted to attend – 250 each night

 

  1. Island Restaurant Group Limited to record names and contact details of spectators for purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for a period of 28 days post-date of each date of the event.

 

  1. Wearing of masks required at all times save for the consumption of food and drinks.  

 

  1. Adherence to all relevant COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.

 

  1. The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice to the organizer or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

 

  1. The Bermuda Police Service and/or the Ministry of National Security Officials have right to attend and observe for compliance to the conditions as set by the Minister.
