VSPHERE Licenses
The Government of Bermuda, through the Department of Information and Digital Technologies (IDT), intends to procure the renewal of VMware vSphere Foundation licensing to support the continued operation of the Government's virtual server infrastructure.
The objective is to ensure licensing continuity, maintain access to applicable software updates and manufacturer support, and support the stability and availability of the Government's virtualization environment.
The successful Proponent will be responsible for procuring the required VMware vSphere licenses.
VMware vSphere is our core virtualization platform supporting approximately 500 Government servers. Procuring VMware vSphere licenses safeguards the Government's investment, maintains operational continuity while enabling flexibility for future growth and ensures adherence to vendor-recommended security, operational, and lifecycle management practices.
