RFP 44-28-75-04-P Swing Bridge Replacement - The Engineer
The Government of Bermuda is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced engineering firm to act as The Engineer to deliver the Swing Bridge Replacement Project in St. George’s Parish, Bermuda. The new bridge will be a seven-span viaduct, comprised of steel box girders, supported by reinforced concrete abutments and piers, formed on reinforced concrete pile caps seated on tubular piles. The viaduct includes a 30.1m lift span actuated with large hydraulic cylinders.
This request for proposals is for the role of The Engineer, to administer the project using the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contract for PLANT and Design-Build (yellow book).
