Also located within the Cabinet Office is the Secretary to the Cabinet who is appointed under the Constitution and is the principal policy advisor to the Premier and the Cabinet, responsible for the management of the Cabinet Office, the Cabinet Agenda, and in conjunction with the Head of the Public Service, the delivery of the Government’s legislative and policy initiatives.
