Little Listeners

Investing in early childhood means investing in Bermuda’s future. 📚🌱

The Department of Health, in partnership with the Department of Libraries and Archives, is supporting Little Listeners, a FREE interactive story time programme designed for children ages 2–4 and their caregivers.

Beginning in June 2026, Little Listeners will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, creating a welcoming space where young children can experience storytelling, music, playful interaction and meaningful social connection.

👧🏽👦🏾 Ages 2–4 and caregivers

Hosted by Deana Roberts, Health Visitor, the programme highlights how simple, engaging experiences can support children’s early development while strengthening caregiver-child connection.

Reading, talking, singing and playing together can create valuable opportunities for children to develop communication, social and emotional skills, curiosity and a positive relationship with learning.

Little Listeners also reflects the importance of cross-sector collaboration. When health, libraries, families and community services work together, we can create stronger environments for children to grow, learn and thrive.
