The Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors is advising the public that the nomination deadline for Youth Trailblazers Out Front–2026 has been extended to June 5, 2026. The initiative celebrates Bermuda’s graduating students who have demonstrated achievement, perseverance, service, creativity, leadership, and strong character.
Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, the Hon. Tinee Furbert, JP, MP, encouraged the community to continue submitting nominations and ensuring deserving young people are recognised. Minister Furbert stated, “We have seen tremendous enthusiasm surrounding Youth Trailblazers Out Front–2026, and extending the deadline gives more people the opportunity to highlight the incredible young people making a positive impact across Bermuda. Our students continue to inspire us through their resilience, talent, and determination, and I encourage everyone to nominate a young person whose story deserves to be celebrated.”
The initiative is open to Bermuda’s 2026 graduating students, including final-year middle school (M3), senior high school (S4), and those in private or specialised programmes. Students of all abilities are encouraged to be nominated across categories, including Academic Achievement, Leadership and Service, Community Impact, Sports Achievement, Arts and Culture, and STEM and Innovation, with one overall Youth Trailblazer selected.
Students, schools, sports clubs, community and youth organizations, churches, and non-profit organizations may submit nominations. Submissions can be made at bit.ly/youthtrailblazer2026.
