Road Traffic Notice: Canal Road Closure for Davis Cup Tennis Matches

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that Canal Road in Pembroke Parish, near the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium, will be closed to facilitate the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Davis Cup tennis matches.

The road closure will begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday, 17 September 2026, and remain in effect until 11 p.m. on Sunday, 20 September 2026.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes via Marsh Folly Road and Dutton Avenue. Traffic control will be managed by Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association representatives.

The Ministry encourages motorists to plan accordingly and apologises for any inconvenience caused. Please refer to the attached Road Traffic Notice for further information.
