Executive Summary:

It is important to note that the successful respondent's employees must comply with safety, health and security requirements and will require security clearance and, where applicable, work permits. It is also important to note the Department of Human Resources (DHR) will be looking for a solution that takes into account, where practical, the environmental impact of cleaning materials used.

The quality of office cleaning services is a reflection of DHR’s image and its ability to provide a safe, attractive and clean environment for its employees and customers. The successful respondent is expected to meet minimum safety, efficiency and quality standards.  It is also expected to ensure on-site managerial personnel with experience and expertise in providing cleaning services during the hours of cleaning. DHR requires the successful bidder to maintain reasonable employment standards.

Fees shall be charged on a monthly basis, payable monthly in arrears.

The successful contractor shall be responsible for providing to the satisfaction of the DHR’s appointed manager a full Cleaning Service. The successful contractor shall be responsible for supplying all labour, equipment, and consumables necessary to perform the work.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting Details

Pre- Bid meeting and Site Visit

The bidder’s designated representative is invited to attend a pre-bid meeting, if provided for; the purpose of the meeting will be to clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage of the procurement. If so provided for, the Government will organize a site visit.

The bidder is requested, as far as possible, to submit any questions in writing, to reach the Contact not later than two (2) days before the meeting.

Non-attendance at the pre-bid meeting will not be a cause for disqualification of a bidder.
