Executive Summary:

This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Scotts Hill Road Rock Cut Repairs, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The Ministry of Public Works requires repairs to a rock cut at Scotts Hill Road, Somerset Village. The work involves infilling of an undermined area of the rock cut using mass concrete and the strengthening of the rock face through reinforced concrete spray (shotcrete). The General Contractor shall supply all adequate and competent labor, supervision, tools and equipment, installed and consumable materials, and every item of expense necessary to complete the construction project.

Pre-Bid / Site Meeting

A non-mandatory site meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 10:00 am at Scotts Hill Road. The purpose of the meeting will be to visually review the site conditions, clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised. Respondents are responsible to have a copy of the RFQ documents and for making their own notations during the site visits. Any modification of the RFQ documents that may become necessary as a result of the site visits will be made through an addendum.
