LARGE GROUP EXEMPTION:

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

BUS OPERATORS MEETING

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Department of Transportation Bus Operators Meeting is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 (1) and (2) of the Public Health (COVID-19 Emergency Powers) Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 (4) of those Regulations permitting a group of more than fifty persons to assemble on Wednesday August 12, 2020 between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm  at St. Paul AME – Centennial Hall, 59 Victoria Street, City of Hamilton

Conditions:

1. All persons attending the meeting must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
    
2. Number of persons permitted to attend limited to 75.
    
3. Duration of the meeting is one hour  (11:00 am to 12:00 pm)
    
4. The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance to the conditions as prescribed above.
