FISHERIES LICENSING (VESSEL INSPECTIONS)

Fishing vessel licence holders are reminded that fishing vessels must be inspected for compliance with vessel safety gear and equipment prior to the payment of licensing fees.  Fisheries inspectors WILL NOT approve a vessel for licensing if the safety gear and equipment is not up-to-date. 

The deadline for the receipt of licence applications is at 4:45pm on Tuesday, 31^st March 2020 at the Licensing Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources located in the Botanical Gardens, Paget. No late applications can be accepted.  

Owners of fishing vessels, which have not been inspected or have not passed inspection by the end of March, must make application for a vessel inspection/licensing deferment prior to the above licensing deadline.
