The Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation announced that it will host the its Annual Sports Awards on March 14th, 2020.

In the lead up to the event, the Department is inviting the public, all sports organisations and all of Bermuda’s National Sports Governing Bodies to submit nominations for outstanding sports individuals. The current awards period is January 1, 2019, to December 20, 2019.

Nomination forms can be found at https://www.gov.bm/annual-sports-awards.

Nomination forms can also be collected from the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation and the Pro Shop.

Awards for the annual event include Appreciation Award, Female Athlete of the Year, Female Junior Athlete of the Year, Junior Achievement Award, Male Athlete of the Year, Male Junior Athlete of the Year, Senior Achievement Award, Special Achievement & Sport Citation.

Completed forms should be returned to the Department of Youth, Sports, and Recreation, located on the third floor of the Craig Appin House, 8 Wesley Street, Hamilton HM11 or email to Senior Sports Development Officer Jekon Edness at jaedness@gov.bm.
