Mirrors Programme Seeking 45 Life Coaches
The Mirrors Programme is excited to launch the 2026/27 Community Programme Leadership Academy (CPLA), formerly known as the Coaching for Success Community Programme. More than just a mentorship opportunity, this performance coaching programme is a catalyst for personal transformation. We are seeking 45 dedicated volunteer adult Life Coaches to join this initiative, with 20 matched with young people in the CPLA and the remainder supporting the in-house restorative programme.
Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, the Hon. Tinee Furbert, JP, MP, stated, “Investing in our youth is investing in the future of Bermuda. Becoming a Life Coach with the Mirrors Programme offers an opportunity for members of the community to contribute to the development of our young people, having a measurable impact through helping them to realise their potential and become the leaders and changemakers of our future.”
The journey begins with a 2.5-day Volunteer Life Coach training in September, followed by a Matching Day where coaches meet their assigned young person. The programme then continues over eight months, from October 2026 to May 2027, with weekly coaching sessions and monthly experiential activities.
For nearly 20 years, Mirrors has demonstrated a strong track record of creating positive change in the lives of Bermuda’s youth. This year’s theme, ‘Transform Your Perspective’, reflects its commitment to helping young people reshape their outlook and achieve their full potential. The programme combines personal and academic goal-setting, leadership development, character-building and engaging activities, including partnerships with community organisations such as Toastmasters International.
Community members are encouraged to sign up to become a Life Coach. Information sessions are held every Wednesday from April through 17 June, or can be arranged for organisations upon request. To register, visit: bit.ly/mirrorsinfosession
