EXTRAORDINARY MUNICIPAL ELECTION 

CORPORATION OF HAMILTON

NOTICE OF ISSUE OF WRIT

In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, as modified by the Municipalities (Election) Order 2015, notice is hereby given that on 28 November 2025 the Parliamentary Registrar issued writs of election for an extraordinary municipal election to be held for the Corporation of Hamilton for the election of one Residents’ Councillor. 

Notice is further given that:

1. Nomination Day is 30 December 2025

2. Polling Day is 15 January 2026

3. The election room is St. Paul Centennial Hall, Hamilton
