Section 26A(1)(b)

 

 

NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PARLIAMENTARY REGISTER 

 

Notice is given that, in accordance with section 26A(1)(b) of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, copies of the parliamentary register (“the register”) for the general election are available from Tuesday, 21 January 2025 for inspection at the Parliamentary Registry, Craig Appin House 3rd floor, # 8 Wesley Street, Hamilton, all post offices and police stations. 

Objections to the registration of any person whose name is entered on the register must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register.  The grounds for such objections must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of five dollars ($5). 

Objections by a person that his name has been irregularly omitted from the register or that particulars relating to his name are incomplete or inaccurate must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register.  The grounds for such objections must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of five dollars ($5).
