“Brian was outstanding sportsman who contributed so much to golf in Bermuda. His skill, discipline and passion for the sport helped him cement an unparalleled reputation both here and abroad. As the head professional golfer at the Ocean View Golf Club, he was widely respected, appreciated and admired. Personally, I got to know Brian as I was on the board of trustees for five years, my children attended golfing at Ocean View, and I was a golfer. He was incredibly engaging.”

Minister Darrell concluded, “Brian’s life story was a powerful and an inspirational one. My hope is that his legacy and his contributions will be remembered by all in our community. On behalf of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sport, I join the community in extending my deepest and sincerest condolences to Mr. Morris’ family, loved ones and friends. His passing is certainly a great loss for Bermuda, and he will be truly missed.”
