Culture@Home Weekend Entertainment

As part of the 'Culture@Home' local entertainment initiative, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sport announced that popular DJ IBreeze will host a 2-hour live session this Sunday (April 25).

The online music session is being sponsored by the Department of Culture, and gets underway at 4.00 p.m. via multiple social media platforms (Twitch, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook).

The public will recall that earlier this week, the Department of Culture launched 'Culture@Home', featuring local artists.

It's an initiative aimed at showcasing a variety of virtual performances and online activities to lighten community spirits during these challenging times.

One of the main events is tomorrow's at-home virtual concert by local favourite, singer Joy T. Barnum.

Joy's performance kicks off at 8.30 p.m, and will be livestreamed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/bdaculture/

Other events being showcased as part of 'Culture@Home', include the rebroadcasting of the Creatives Live! concerts, which were safely held on the steps of City Hall recently featuring Brixx, CuSh Evans, and Pan-some; the virtual Premier's Concert featuring local artists; and a filmed interview with local artist Gherdai Hassell who discussed her first solo exhibition at the Bermuda National Gallery - I Am Because You Are

All of the events will be shown over the next several weeks on CITV and the Department of Culture's YouTube channel and social media platforms.
