"The Ag Show is a testament to our community's commitment to preserving and celebrating our Bermudian heritage," said the Minister of Public Works, Lt. Col. the Hon. David A. Burch, OBE (Mil), ED, JP, MP.
The Minister's comments come as employees from the Department of Parks are making progress in transforming the grounds of the Botanical Gardens for the opening of the 83rd Annual Agricultural Exhibition, which will take place there from 18 April to 20 April.
The iconic event promises a showcase of local agriculture, horticulture, and craftsmanship at its finest. Minister Burch added: "The hard work being poured into these preparations highlights a team effort and determination to make this year's Exhibition a success, following the successful show that we witnessed last year."
In the days leading up to the event, workers from the Department of Parks, bolstered by eager young participants from the Skills Development Programme and a group of volunteers, have been busy preparing various sections of the Gardens.
From the arrangement of the Formal Garden to the composition of the Sensory Garden, every corner is being groomed to meet the public's expectations. These efforts ensure that the showcases of animals, plants, and traditional displays will take centre stage for the enjoyment of all patrons.

- Opening hours during the course of the three days will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Admission tickets may be purchased on location: $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
- Exciting events and attractions planned throughout the exhibition, including agricultural displays, animal shows, craft demonstrations, and entertainment.
- Food vendors offering a variety of local cuisine and traditional Bermudian dishes.
Furthermore, the Minister took the opportunity to extend a warm invitation to the public, emphasising the importance of family participation. "I encourage everyone, especially families, to come out and experience the Ag Show.
“It's more than an exhibition; it is a celebration of our local culture and an opportunity to support the vendors, farmers, entrepreneurs and artisans who will be participating."
