Travelling as an unaccompanied Minor?

Unimmunised, unaccompanied minor children (17 and younger) will automatically be exempted through the application for the Travel Authorisation from the Quarantine Hotel and will be able to quarantine at home. 

All visitors 2-years-old and older, must have a negative pre-arrival test taken within four days before arrival in Bermuda. Residents, two-years-old or older, are strongly encouraged to have a negative pre-arrival PCR COVID-19 test taken within 4 days of arrival. The requirements for a valid test can be found here

Step 1

A parent or guardian must apply for the minor child's Travel Authorisation.

Step 2

Pay $75 for all your minor child's approved Travel Authorisation. Ensure they print or have electronically a copy of their Travel Authorisation for boarding their flight. 

Travellers failing to complete a Travel Authorisation form before travelling to Bermuda will be charged $1,000 upon arrival for the completion of a Travel Authorisation.

Step 3: 

Upon arrival in Bermuda, they must have their Travel Authorisation available electronically or printed for scanning.

Step 4: 

They must test upon arrival, quarantine for 14 days at their accommodation.

Step 5:

They must test on day 14 and upon receipt of a negative day 14 test result, they will be released from quarantine.
