Bermuda Health Strategy Goal 12

12. Partner with physicians and the broader healthcare community to achieve health reform goals and improve the coordination of healthcare delivery

The Health Strategy aims to partner with physicians and the broader healthcare community to achieve health reform goals and improve the coordination of healthcare delivery to ensure the best outcomes possible for patients and efficient use of healthcare resources.

The Ministry of Health has implemented improved ways to consult with and collaborate with stakeholders and the public, including a public health consultations web page. In addition, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, assisted by the Pan American Health Organization, developed a collaborative “Human Resources for Health Strategic Plan 2018” to address the health workforce needed to meet the future health needs of Bermuda’s population.
