Want to know more about renewable energy?

Renewable energy systems can stabilise your energy costs and reduce your reliance on electricity generated from polluting fossil-fuels that contribute toward climate change. The renewable energy guides found in the right hand column of this page should answer many of the questions you may have regarding renewable energy for your property and how to go about installing a system. .

Solar Photovoltaic Rebate Initiative

Fed up with the cost of electricity? Concerned about greenhouse gas emissions? Why not generate your own electricity using solar energy? Although solar energy is free, the technology to convert it into electricity can be expensive, so the Government is offering a rebate of up to $5,000 toward the cost of residential solar photovoltaic generation systems. For more information please view the SPRI information pack.

Solar Water Heater Rebate Initiative

Fed up with the cost of electricity? Concerned about greenhouse gas emissions? Why not heat your water using solar energy? Although solar energy is free, the technology to heat your water with it can be expensive, so the Government is offering a rebate of up to $1,500 toward the cost of residential solar water heating systems. For more information please view the fact sheet on solar water heating, the SWRI information pack or contact a certified installer of solar water heating systems.
