Bermuda Health Council members are committed to the Council’s mandate to regulate, coordinate and enhance the delivery of health services in Bermuda. Collectively they represent an impressive cross section of skills, knowledge and experience in matters related to the Bermuda health system.Using these attributes, each members contributes invaluable time and energy to support the Council’s effort to bring about health reform in Bermuda.
The Bermuda Health Council is made up of nine to eleven ordinary members and four ex-officio members.The ordinary members are appointed by the Minister of Health and serve for varied terms to ensure continuity in the management of the Council.The ex-officio members, are identified in the Bermuda Health Council Act 2004 and hold a specified positions in the Civil Service or the Executive Offices of the Council.
