The Bermuda economy generates a strong demand for audit practitioners and qualified accountants, like all organizations in Bermuda recruiting these professional persons is continual. If no Bermudians are available, recruiting efforts are directed overseas. Potential candidates should have a qualification which is acceptable to the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Positions which often come available to overseas applicants are Audit Manager, Senior Auditor and Audit Officer. Candidates are usually hired on a three year contract with the possibility of renewal. Salaries range between $90,959-$116,237 (BDA$ = US$).

There is no income tax in Bermuda but employees can expect to pay approximately 5.75% of salary in non-refundable deductions.
