The public will be aware that the Parliamentary Registry Office (PRO) announced that a Bye-Election for Constituency 10, Smith’s North will take place on May 22, 2024.
This morning (May 8), Nomination Day for the Constituency 10 Bye-Election took place at the Christ Anglican Church Hall in Devonshire.
At the close of nominations, the confirmed candidates are as follows:
• Mr. Robert King – One Bermuda Alliance
• Ms. Lindsay Simmons – Progressive Labour Party
• Sir John Swan – Independent
Voters in the Constituency 10, Smith’s North Bye-Election should be aware of the following important events:
• Advanced polling for travellers and incapacitated voters will take place on May 15, 2024.
• Any voter unable to visit the polls and wishing to be visited at their place of residence should call the Parliamentary Registrar to schedule an appointment no later than May 10, 2024.
• Polling Day will take place on May 22, 2024.
