The Ministry of Home Affairs would like to extend its sincere thanks to all residents who took the time to participate in the Cost of Living Public Survey, which officially closed yesterday, April 30.
Since its launch on April 3, the survey has received an encouraging response.
The insights gathered will play an instrumental role in shaping the Cost of Living Summit, where the data from both the Public and Business Surveys will help guide meaningful discussions on reducing the financial burden faced by Bermudians.
Today the Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. Alexa Lightbourne, JP, MP, expressed her appreciation for the public’s engagement in the Cost of Living Survey, saying, “The public’s response to the Cost of Living Survey reaffirms this Government’s commitment to people-first policymaking. The insights provided will directly inform how we structure the upcoming Cost of Living Summit and shape the Ministry’s long-term strategy.
“As we review the survey data alongside broader government findings, we remain resolute in our collaborative approach, grounded in action and guided by the needs of Bermudian families. This survey is just the beginning. We look forward to continued public engagement as we deliver practical, targeted solutions to tackle the high cost of living for all who call Bermuda home.”
